Gregg’s Winning Recipe

Getting ready for Chili Cook-Off 2017? Reigning Chili Queen, Gregg Khedouri has graciously allowed the Realm team to share her 2016 winning recipe. Enjoy!

Gregg’s Rookie Italian Chili


2lbs Pancetta

2lbs Sweet Italian Sausage

2lbs Ground Beef

1 large sweet onion

4 cloves garlic

1 28oz can of Fire Roasted Crushed Tomatoes

1 bottle of Chili Sauce

1 can Chipotle Peppers

2 tbsp Worcestershire

2 tbsp Chili Powder

2 tbsp Ground Cumin

1 can of Black Beans

1 large can of Cannelloni Beans

1 spoon full of honey (save until ready to eat, optional depending on spiciness)



  1. Render Pancetta, onion & garlic until translucent
  2. Add Pork and Beef cook through and drain out half the fat
  3. Add tomatoes & chili sauce and bring to boil
  4. Add rest of ingredients and cook on low for 1.5 hours, stir constantly
  5. Add love and patience (I made it on Sunday and re-cooked on warm thru Monday night per Jeff’s recommendation so it would be warm on Tuesday morning)
  6. Toppings: sharp cheddar, green onion, and avocado
