KORE Rebrand, Episode 1: Getting at the Core of KORE

KORE launches its new brand with messaging, collateral, anthem videos and new websites, all in time for a September 12 global rollout at Mobile World Congress Americas

Now, you’re probably wondering how we got here. It started with a seven-page Statement of Work and an ambitious plan.

KORE is committed to simplifying the complexity of the Internet of Things (IoT) with comprehensive solutions, making communication more efficient, effective and, in some cases, even possible. From doctors monitoring patients remotely to fleet managers spotting maintenance issues before they happen to insurance agents processing claims in the field, KORE will deliver transformative business performance to maximize customers’ IoT investment.

Building on the momentum of brand work already completed by KORE, we were engaged to develop assets for domestic use that could also be rolled out to support their global presence in Canada, Europe and the LATAM region.

KORE Brand Standard Introduction


This began with a close collaboration with the client to inventory all marcom and sales materials to determine what would be kept, revised and removed. Items were identified for subsequent use as downloads and thought-leader pieces for the website. At the same time, we were working through the message and tone to help find the right voice for KORE. 

The process offered the necessary baseline for honing the value proposition, fine-tuning the voice – inside and outside KORE’s walls – and carefully crafting the messaging architecture. This included creation of buyer profiles to better speak to the target audiences.

The back-and-forth reviews and revisions, including from KORE’s Executive Leadership Team, allowed us, and them, to get buy-in in stages and create a unified and effective message that the entire organization would commit to and support from the top down without question.

“This is a classic example of measure twice, cut once,” says Eric Berrios, VP Client Services at Realm. “KORE had been doing their homework and the research and then collaborated with us to ensure alignment, so we could go to market with an ideal position and message. It’s the best way to do this sort of effort.”

During this phase, we began working with KORE on a new brand style guide which would evolve, as we further developed the brand impressions, at break-neck speed. This would provide a north star for consistent and cohesive execution of the brand elements.

It’s the foundational work that is critical in setting a project like this in motion, making sure expectations are properly set and resources adequately prepared.
