Rebranding KORE, Episode 2: An Inside Job

We’ve looked at how messaging was the first task we tackled in relaunching the KORE brand. As this took shape, we also began bringing the internal launch communications in line and creating a brand-activation journey to keep leadership informed of the planned phases, as well as up to date on messaging refinements.

Crafting internal communications to build a strong sense of oneness and team is part of our “employees as first-customer philosophy.” We have born witness to brands that both do this and don’t do this, and there is no question that employee buy-in leads to greater success.

Working with KORE to map their journey, we emphasized the company’s delivery of unparalleled business performance as their customers’ trusted advisor and partner of choice to navigate the complexities of IoT and how the internal teams are an integral part of that delivery. By the launch, KORE would be ready to unveil itself as the guide needed to make IoT simpler for companies of all sizes across its prioritized industries. And the brand would be transformed to better reflect the people, vision and mission of KORE.

As part of the transformative process, we helped KORE develop internal messaging including executive decks to help keep KORE’s leadership team apprised of what was happening to set appropriate expectations. This, in addition to employee messaging, helped keep the process on course.

Some key message points of the internal brand voice were both timeless ideas – KORE is agile and evolving, reliable and prescient – as well as timely – KORE is faster, simpler and easier for customers to put world-class solutions to work today.

These messages would find themselves on signage created through a series of posters sharing the vision, brand message and brand attributes to communicate and emphasize these messages in the workplace, building knowledge and pride in the newly launched rebranding.


Additional support was provided with email templates for consistent communication companywide, and an animated screensaver that appeared on company computers on the morning of September 10 for the internal reveal.

Internal messaging is extremely collaborative with the KORE team leading the cultural change process. Our team supports and props up those efforts knowing that the KORE team is doing the real heavy lifting.
